Our second volunteer day at Mangaroa Farms was a great success with a solid turnout of soil soul-diers and weeding warriors.
Thanks to the experience of our last event, we managed to double the amount of beds we put in the ground, and take the afternoon off for learning about more in depth practices on the farm & market garden.
Big thanks to Jules Matthews and Sam Gibbins for sharing all of their knowledge about market gardening, and to Jana for the delicious kai 100% sourced locally from our farms.
